The staff is great but the matcha is sadly not great. I hate to waste, but I did end up tossing 90% of it. I've had good matcha lattes at other LoTH locations but this one was pale and extremely sugary (I wanted unsweetened, but it's pre-sweetened I guess) I did see someone else get a green-colored matcha somehow. I assume she she paid the upcharge for "ceremonial grade" matcha (which is essentially a nonsense marketing term if you really research it)

On July 31st, I ordered a White Chocolate and Mint Freeze with only one pump of each instead of the typical two pumps and a Pistachio Croissant. The Barista was incredibly helpful by sharing options on flavors and when the pastries were baked. My Freeze was absolutely delicious and my croissant was soft and fresh. I absolutely loved the artwork displayed on the wall and the decor throughout. The atmosphere was peaceful yet energizing. I highly recommend! Edited to add that On August 7th, I returned for another wonderful and top notch experience at Land of a Thousand Hills! The barista, Yaadanii, helped me pick out a blend of coffee explaining various acidity and flavorful profiles, and even offered to grind the beans! I went with the Nziza blend. It is very floral and makes a really great iced coffee. I ordered a chocolate croissant and another mint and white chocolate freeze. Both were delicious! I highly recommend. I couldn't figure out if or how to make an additional review.

Yaadanii MADE MY DAY by serving a DELICIOUS iced matcha, whisked by hand the authentic way, and with a splash of vanilla. Yaadanii affirmed that the matcha was to die for and from her personable and humorous nature I immediately trusted her opinion. I’ll DEFINITELY be back because I needed a good quality matcha spot! THANK YOU GIRL! You ROCK! Top tier service

Some of the best coffee cake I’ve had - super moist and perfectly sweet! Service was also incredible, as they went out of their way to find utensils and dishes in order to eat the cake. The coffee is also fantastic, and prices were awesome. Pretty solid place to grab a quick refreshment! Wouldn’t totally recommend as a study spot since it’s just not practical without much work-conducive seating. Very comfortable couches and chairs, though, especially for reading or lounging!

The inside atmosphere is pretty nice. It's on the ground level of a business highrise in Midtown Atlanta. The staff was pleasant and friendly. A friend and I ordered Iced Matchas and decided to sit outside. We weren't exactly pleased with our drinks. The matcha powder was a bit clumpy and not mixed well. The outside seating and tables needed cleaning as well. Overall, I think this location is a decent option for this part of Midtown. I wouldn't recommend their iced matchas. I've had their coffee in the past, which I enjoyed. I recently ordered another iced matcha, unsweetened with water only. The associate was quick to state, "It's going to be the same price." It was over $8 for a little matcha powder mixed in some water. I wasn't trying to save money, I just didn't want any milk or sweetener. However, it was disappointing that they didn't offer to discount the cost. I order the same thing at Starbucks often, and they don't charge me more than a couple of bucks.
